Conditions log: past reports next to river flows

When we collected them on November 1, 2026, the Cleveland Metroparks Fishing Report archive listed 158 posts on 16 pages; 146 are dated September through May. For each river below, every one of those posts with a sentence that names the river and steelhead (matched on the river’s name) is listed with a short excerpt and the USGS gauge’s daily mean flow (and water temperature, where the gauge records it) on the date the post went up. Compare today’s readings with them yourself; we don’t rate conditions or forecast.

Rivers: Vermilion River · Rocky River · Cuyahoga River · Euclid Creek · Chagrin River · Grand River · Conneaut Creek

How to read it. Dates are posting dates, and reports often describe the days before. Flows are USGS daily means for the posting date; a P marks a USGS provisional value, which can be revised. The latest readings at the top of each river are instantaneous values with USGS’s own time, so they can differ from a daily mean on the same day. Each excerpt is at most 25 words from the first sentence in the post that names the river and steelhead; follow the link for the full report.
